BUILT AROUND THE WORK

A PPF installation is only as good as the preparation behind it. Our dedicated wash facility, detailing team and PPF installation room allow the complete process to remain under our control, from initial preparation and decontamination through to installation and final inspection.

THE PROCESS

Every installation follows a structured process from initial preparation through to final quality control.

01 - PREPARE

The vehicle is thoroughly washed and decontaminated in our dedicated wash facility. Trims and seals are removed where required so hidden contamination can be cleaned before installation.

02 - INSTALL

XPEL DAP patterns are computer-cut, then modified or extended where appropriate for greater coverage. Installation is carried out in our dedicated PPF room, using vehicle lifts for visibility and access where required.

03 - INSPECT

Following installation, the vehicle remains with us for final quality control. Film, edges and finishing are thoroughly inspected before the vehicle is prepared for collection.

AFTERCARE & INSPECTION

Our involvement doesn't end when the vehicle is collected. Every PPF installation returns to Detailz between two and three weeks after installation for a complimentary wash and thorough inspection. This allows us to check the film, edges and overall installation once the vehicle has been back in normal use.

YOUR FOLLOW-UP

Your inspection is arranged when you collect the vehicle. Following a complimentary wash, our PPF team carries out a complete post-installation check.

ONGOING MAINTENANCE

If you maintain the vehicle yourself, we'll show you how to safely wash and care for the film.
Alternatively, our Signature Maintenance service is available to book online for ongoing professional maintenance.
